CONFERENCE FORMAT

The conference will include oral presentations and three poster sessions. All oral presentations (plenary as well as parallel sessions) will take place in the Centennial Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency, Atlanta.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

The presentations of the plenary speakers will be 45-minutes long (including a 7-minute discussion); those of the invited speakers will be 30-minutes long (including a 5-minute discussion); and the invited short talks will be 15-minutes long (including a 3-minute discussion).

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The preferred poster size is 4ft (120cm) high by 3ft (90cm) wide (format A0). The three poster sessions will take place from 6:00 to 8:30PM on Monday July 9, Tuesday July 10, and Thursday July 12 in the Grand Hall at Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The posters need to be placed in the room on the day of the allocated poster session (preferably by early morning) and promptly removed at the end of the session. Each poster will be numbered in the book of abstracts and each presenter will need to match that number to their allocated panel. Push-pins will be furnished by the conference organizers.

YOUNG SCIENTIST POSTER AWARDS

The judges of the poster sessions will select several participants for the Young Scientist Poster Awards from among those participants who submitted a power point presentation at the time of their abstract submission. To claim their prize, all winners must attend the Poster Award ceremony on Friday, July 13 at 12PM.
